DDA EMBLAZON 27C

A classic source of moderate, easy fleshing, functional genetics developed for grass utilization. Highly-maternal with Shoshone 130, Bear of Wye and Fahren of Wye on the bottom side of his pedigree and Emblazon on the top. DDA 27C is a frame 5, very 3-dimensional. His sons have topped the Diamond D sale over the last 3 years. The Melisa 824 cow is one of my favourite cows and the daughters we have of 27C will emulate her prepotency.
D D A FAHREN 21X

They are very feminine, trouble free cows with near perfect udders and excellent temperaments. DDA 21X is a line bred Fahren of Wye, and the mothers' side of 21X pedigree traces to DDA’s 779-donor cow. Same cow family as DDA EMBLAZON 27C.

CROWFOOT EQUATION 5793R

Our pick of the Legacy sons, Equation is a real powerhouse out of a beautiful Tomwall Pied Piper 413 daughter, a granddaughter of Shoshone PP 7105, the bull Tom Walling believed to be the best cow maker he had ever used.
"5793R" packs a lot of muscle, has good structure and large testicles and is an efficient breeder. We have used this bull heavy for two years because he has done more things right than any bull we have used so far. His dam (WR: 105, YR: 111) was one of the high-selling females in the Crowfoot Dispersal and goes back to the dam of our senior herdsire "1670L" who has been flushed by Ole Farms.
Equations paternal granddam, OCC Dixie Erica 960E, is a beautiful OCC Anchor 771A daughter and is also the dam of OCC Hunter 928E.
CROWFOOT MACHO 4549P

We had Macho's sire, OCC Magnum 749M, at our place as a yearling in the drought of 2002 and really appreciated the bull for his depth of quarter, feet and legs, and muscle expression. '4549P' is no different and has bred true to his pedigree, siring a strong group of calves in '07 and was used heavy via natural service again this year. Note his sire is line-bred PBC 7071MF0203 (the sire of the dam of DHD Traveler 6807) five times and a strong 'Alliance 6595' daughter on the bottom. Semen inquiries welcome.
Crowfoot Joker 6172S
A stout and powerful son of OCC Joker 620J, whose daughters have all the bases covered from functionality to beauty. "6172S"was selected as the high-selling bull in the 2007 Crowfoot Bull Sale and is powered by an exceptional cow family, his dam being a CAA Elite Dam (4/113), granddam in embryo transplant at Remington, and a great granddam who has left us one of our most productive cow families which produced our high-selling bull last year. Positive ultrasound scan data with a LMY/ 62.8, Ribeye/ 10.44, Percent IMF/ 5.94, Rib Fat/ 0.17. Progressive genetics for any grass-based outfit . Semen inquiries welcome.

His daughters are moderate framed, easy fleshing females with excellent udders that can produce and maintain themselves in all conditions.
OCC Moonshine 740M

Used naturally in 2007, "740M" is a son of OCC Just Right 619J, a full brother to OCC Joker 620J, and out of OCC Dixie Erica 816B the famous "birthmark" cow, who is a full sister to both OCC Emblazon 854E and OCC Echelon 857E. "740M" is a thick-made, long-bodied bull who sires calves that possess the real Angus look. Daughters are highly productive and efficient.

His perfect uddered, big ribbed, easy fleshing dam has been outstanding to this point with a WWR of 2/112, YWR 2/107, IMF 2/111 and a REA of 2/110.
Crowfoot Rambler 1038L
One of the heavier muscled bulls in the breed, extremely easy fleshing and athletic. No matter how many cows he has to cover, he stays thick and muscled. We used him A.I. before purchasing him this spring. '1038L' has sons working in several notable herds such as Bar-E-L, Lazy S, and Chickadee and is a part of Remington's hybrid bull program.
